Andrea Moraes

She is such a sweet lady! I'd recommend taking her class. Although this class does attract a lot of people who don't do the work, which is difficult because there is a group assignment. Make sure you choose a good group of people who actually attend class, and you'll be okay. She let us go early tons of times!

Professor Moraes is very caring and approachable. She is a fair marker and the final exam was open book. There was a group presentation project, it was fine for me because my teammates all did their parts. Overall this is a great course with professor Moraes.

Great professor. Essay was fair the exam was open book and fair. I did not enjoy the group presentation because I was stuck with group members that did not cooperate. That's the only complain that I have other than that, its a bird course.

Andrea Moraes was extremely nice and caring. Everything about this course is pretty bird (a lot of people didn't attend lectures) and were able to get an A. She marks pretty leniently, but I would say her essay marking was harder compared to my mark on other essays in other writing courses.

She's a very lenient and understanding professor. She listens to student feedback and used it to adjust the exam format to make it easier for us. Course itself was very light, 1 group project, 1 essay, and a multiple choice exam. There are readings every week, but the lectures provide a good summary of them, so you don't really need to read them.

Andrea is one of the best professor in TMU. She is very passionate about the course and wants her students to be successful.

If you need to get a free 4.33, do take this class. Absolute goat.

Really tough grader. I consider myself to have good writing skills based on the grades I received in my other writing courses but I received a really low mark on the essay for this course. Her PowerPoints have too many slides and her final exam was hard. This is not a a bird course although it seems like one.
