She is one of the worst professor I have ever seen and we don't understand anything.
Pauline is a very nice lady. However, she is not the best teacher, her videos and modules on the course topics are not very helpful for the quizzes. With that being said, this course is not hard if you actually read the textbook and practice the textbook questions. Weekly quizzes are worth 40% of the work so be prepared for them.
Course consists of a group project, 5 quizzes, a final exam and a discussion board. You dont interact with the professor at all, so not much to say other than the fact she takes a very long time to reply to emails. The course isn't too shabby. Read the modules and you should do fine. Take this prof, the marking scheme is not hard
Dr. Fu is truly a great professor. She's very patient, caring and understanding. Despite the course being in online format, she had some of her videos posted, which helped a lot in understanding the content. Quizzes were of great help as well. Course requires a lot of self studying, but the professor is always there to lend a hand.
The class had no live lectures or recordings, it was just weekly modules to read on your own time. All the quizzes and the final were on Saturdays. All in all pretty easy class through Chang, would recommend taking it with her.
She is very kind and understanding. She records the lectures which is clutch, Overall good experience I would strongly recommend taking this course through Chang with her if you have the option to.
Professor Fu is a very caring prof and takes her time to explain concepts to students. However, she frequently makes mistakes during lecture which makes the concepts confusing, given that it's already a very detail-oriented class. Overall she is nice though, still waiting to see how the tests go
One of the best profs I've ever had at Ryerson. Very clear lectures and genuinely cares about students. I wish she taught all of my stats courses. Fairly hard class, you gotta put in the work, do the homework and not slack.
