Amanda is a great professor. She has real world experience through her work at a consulting company and she was able to supplement textbook material with examples from her work that made the course even more interesting.
Could be the easiest course ever taken at Ryerson. Go to class listen to lectures and you shouldn't get anything below A-. Amanda is great gives feedback and makes tests very straightforward
Amanda is young, cute, energetic and loves what she does. She is relatively knew to teaching which puts her at a disadvantage because she rushes her slides and doesn't explain to the fullest. The course itself is more math that the outline says and is very dense so you have to work really hard for an upper liberal. STAY away if you can, trust me.
Helpful professor; evaluations (test + essay + exam) were all fair (questions straight from class material). As long as you go to class it's a guaranteed A/+. Went into this course with zero Econ/related background and found the initial material difficult. But as long as you ask for help early Amanda will give support/point you to resources.
She is amazing!! I love her! You have to follow her slides. Reading the textbook really helps - Easy "A" if you attend classes and keep up with the textbook chapters.
The course was designed to be interesting and engaging taught by a great part-time Prof.
