You have the chance to take this class with Sean, I highly encourage you to! Even if studying about law isn't your thing, this class is super general ( a lot of common sense). There is a textbook but you don't need it. All exam questions come from the lectures.
Such a great class even though I had to drop because of work commitments. i want poeple to know that Sean is a great prof and i loved this class. I will for sure take him again.
so passionate about the subject area, with a strong focus on Indigenous and LGBT health. you can tell that Sean loves what he does and that he tries to make sure everyone succeeds.
Wow. This guy knows his stuff and what he is tallking about. His law class is funny although sometimes it can be a bit confusing since he goes on about legal issues where we don't fully understand the basics, but he is about to bring around the main point to what we are discussing. Super interesting topics!
I enjoyed this class a lot. He def knows what he talkig about and really uses lots of great examples to help explain everything
He is the better than then best. You can not describe him in words.. He is this good. His skills, knowledge and the energy he brings for his students to learn is outstanding. His lectures are outstanding. He is so accessible in office hours & even through e-mails. With him, you are guaranteed a good mark. You will not ever regret having this prof.
I enjoyed the class. Little theory. Amazing lectures and videos.
I think Sean has to be one of the best profs I've ever hard at Ryerson. He is passionate about the topic he teaches and he always has times for his students. I wanted to meet with him on a number of times but I couldn't make his officer hours and he would schedules times around my schedule. he is a great new prof.
He was very funny but you do not need to attend lectures you can just read the slides before the exam and will do fine. Everything on the exam comes from the posted notes for the most part but he is funny, sso I would go to class.
I took Sean for FNTI Law & Justice, I learned so much about the law in Canada and lots about Aboriginal issues. It was a great course but there was so much reading for the week intensive.
