Assignments are worth a lot 1 is 20%, another is 20% and the final is 35% (all papers). However, she does NOT explain in her instructions what to write for each paper. VERY VAGUE instructions, and POOR POOR feedback. DO NOT take her please. The course content is amazing but it is too bad she makes you not want to take the course.
Undoubtedly the worse professor I have ever had. She does not explain assignments well at all. Rubrics are vague. She gives out poor grades without any justification, and when you call her on it, she ignores legitimate defenses of your work. It is like she has a random grade generator for her assignments and sticks to it with blind faith.
I found the course content was scattered all over the place and Prof. Wise was quite slow to respond to emails, although she did seem enthusiastic when she did respond. The course was very textbook oriented so I found that I didn't have to read the supplementary modules which summed up each section. The group projects were hard to coordinate online
Not a bad prof not an good prof , takes FOREVER to get back to you in emails, provides little feedback. The course was manageable, learned a lot and I would recommend the content.
