He really cares about his students and listens to feedback. Weekly readings can be a little bit heavy, but quizzes are open-book. The final exam was easy, just go over the readings and lecture slides, and you'll be fine (90+ is very achievable)

Prof Gibbs is a very kind & intelligent man, & this class was great. Skills and content are applicable to real life, and he is very lenient and understanding. He is good with clarification, and instructions. He's a great prof, take him if you get the chance!

Professor Gibbs has a lot of knowledge in the Event industry, which makes the lecture enjoyable! The final exam is easy to study for, and attendance is not mandatory to succeed.

Love him Really caring and puts in a lot of effort in relating the topic to real life examples. His lectures are fun interesting and he seems really passionate about the topics. The multiple choice on the quizzes were kind of a confusing mess, but you will be ok Mandatory attendance because of activity points but loved going to this class anyways.

Really cares about his class. Knows when you are stressed with exams. Sympathizes and tries to be funny -- usually works. Knows how to work a crowd.

Love Gibbs, great guy overall. His knowledge of sports management is a breath of fresh air from the hotel heavy profs
