Angela's classes are usually quite fun, she's responsive, and can definitely carry a lecture but the class was often left wondering what the “take away” was. 0 organization. She cares a lot about journalism, but less about her student's success. She doesn't offer much room for creativity or enthusiasm. She also makes fun of students to TAs. no gud
Angela is a great person, It is my third time being in one of her classes and for this to be a mandatory course, she is a good person to teach it. Assignments are okay, her lectures are solid, she's knowledgeable, kind and understanding. Her TAs are tough markers but other than that she is good. She gets better every year, I would recommend!
Great prof. Would love to take another class with her.
Had Angela for JRN 272. She is a nice individual who has a lot of knowledge in Journalism. Felt sometimes here lectures were boring and she had these tests every week which were annoying. Though as an individual she was nice, understanding, and is a good prof. She is knowledgeable and a good person. I would definitely recommend taking her class!
Angela is MOTHER, I love her so much. She is the sweetest and realist professor I've had. Her rubrics are very straightforward (it's the TAs & Instructors who want to make your life hard), and her lectures are amazing. You are lucky if you have her. I also had her for JRN 112 and 105. I'm telling you, she's great.
Angela is very nice, great prof in regards to keeping students engaged. The assignments are easy, the class in general is pretty easy and it shouldn't give you many issues. The TAs she has though are terrible, barely any feedback, feedback is confusing, and they don't tell you how to improve. The TAs are really bad but she is nice, I'd recommend.
She knows how to speak to students in a engaging way. She teaches broadly about a variety of topics and explains their importance. The only issue if you'd call it that is most of the work is insanely easy, like a high-school student would have zero issue doing this same work, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Would love to have her again.
Angela is cool, but this course had alot of mismanagement in the first half of the semester (which is not entirely her fault). Luckily her and all the instructors accepted our feedback and will (fingers crossed) improve this course for future students. Angela herself is very nice though and takes time to teach students new things. Slay Angela.
Angela's genuinely one of the best instructors at the School of Journalism. Super understanding and knowledgable.
Angela is amazing. She provides clear expectations for assignments and is a very fair prof. You will be assessed on weekly assignments that are very manageable. Furthermore, lecture attendance is not mandatory, and you can get away with not attending throughout the entire semester. 10/10 recommend and would take again!
