Marty Fink

Ive had Marty for 3 classes and he's always been super accommodating and very flexible.His lectures are very queer/ gender studies centred so if you aren't interested in the topic maybe he isn't the prof for you. He also records every lecture and uploads it for those who can't make it to class so you don't have to worry.

An absolute sweetheart. Super lenient and caring. I only have good things to say about him. the easiest course of my life but also very inspirational in his deep care for making life accessible to everyone.

Marty is a very caring and flexible proff. No set deadlines, u can literally hand in the first assignment on the last day of class. Presentations could be in-person or an online recording. His political views are very strong, but all his classes are an automatic A+. He genuinely cares about all his students, and supports us in anyway he can.

Dr. Fink is a kind, flexible, and incredibly bright professor, though his strong political views sometimes can overshadow the course material.

Marty is an amazing proff! He's very flexible and lenient when it comes to deadlines, and he is incredibly considerate. The assignments were all based on the readings, but you can apply the same 1-3 readings for all 3-4 assignments. Participation was not mandatory in-person as he had online variations (he gets that we hate to present irl).

Really caring prof! Marty cares about his students and gives very flexible deadlines. This class was really interesting and fun! Love marty, would take classes with him again 100%

Ive had 2 classes with this person and each time he has turned the class into a gender/lgbt studies class. I am not paying this much money for my professional communications class to be taught about these topics. he teaches whatever he wants and not what the course description.

love love love marty DOWNNN best prof i had this entire semester. there are no set deadlines so you can do everything at your own pace, only thing is there are soo many long readings... he records every single thing & makes assignments as accessible & comfortable as possible. i love him sb & i can see why the procom kids say hes goated LMAO

Professor Fink is really great! I sadly dropped his class because I realised I didn't need to take another lower liberal course (lol oops) but I really wish I could've stayed. He was very accommodating and genuinely cared for his students. Definitely one of the best at TMU!
