He uses audio files for lecture content, but ends up having a lecture in class anyways so its 2x the lecture material. Very knowledgeable guy but not so great as a teacher. Weekly quizzes, and group participation result in lots of weekly work, in addition to 30+ pages of boring textbooks and 30+ min of audio files.
Glenn Asano is ya boy. He is an absolute gemini of a professor and he is super nice, outgoing, cares for his students and their progress regarding assignments. He is very relatable, easy to talk to, and is full of business knowledge. The course-work is nothing too hefty, weekly quizzes may be annoying but going to class is worth, Glenn's gotchu fam
Nice guy, but the class highly unstructured. The content is interesting, but it is mostly students teaching other students. The project is fair. The tests were based on the readings and student presentations, but there were questions that came out of no where. I would not take the course again, as it was unstructured.
Glenn is a very nice guy, but I didn't enjoy his teaching style or the layout of the course. Tests were hard to study for because you don't learn anything in class and Group project was very confusing because his instructions were very unclear. I did well in the class but I would't recommend to anyone wanting to learn about doing business in Asia.
I liked it. Asia is an opportunity and this guy opened my eyes to it. I will make money Ada result.
He is an amazing professor. Teaches very well, and the lectures are not focused on textbook material. He talks about real life experiences, and helps us by guiding us in the right direction. He is very up to date and cares about his students.
He doesn't teach the content; you're assigned readings and that's it. He lectures are normally 20 minutes of chatting about his experiences in life, then "leadership discussion" from groups in class, then he stops teaching and gives "group work time", where basically everyone leaves. There is no structure and I was super disappointed by this guy.
He's a super nice guy and he has a whole bunch of energy. But, class always ends atleast an hour early which isn't great if you're eager to learn and the course content is very disorganized. Things are randomly dropped on you without notice.
