Although she is a very nice teacher, be fair warned that she will speak a lot about Spain and place a heavy focus on the Spanish accent, which is kind of offensive as someone from a Latino background. It's a little hard to want to improve your Spanish when Latinos aren't even mentioned in the conversation.
Professor Zafra is honestly the best prof I've had during my time at Ryerson so far. Really cares about what she teaches, and does her absolute best at keeping lectures engaging, no matter if the material itself is very dry. Her tests are pretty hard if you really don't apply yourself, but she gives out relatively easy assignments, and marks easily
You can tell Professor Zafra is an engaging and caring prof. There were fluent speakers in this class but she makes sure that everyone understands concepts. Practising whats taught in lectures is VERY important if you want an A. There are midterms + mini assignments + exam. The class size is also small which makes her lectures comfortable. Enjoy!
Great teacher. You can tell she thoroughly enjoys what she does, and she makes sure that you're enjoying it too. Best part is that she'll even go off curriculum sometimes to show you things and hang out. As far as the class goes. Its fair. You're not gonna coast, but it's definitely fair through and through.
