Polina Buchan

This was the worst course I have ever taken online. It was a mandatory credit so could not be avoided. She structured the class but did not teach any virtual lessons and uploaded videos. After the first 3 weeks, I stopped watching her videos. It would take a week for her to respond to emails. Better off learning off YouTube.

One of the best profs, really reliable and a fair marker.

She's the best, she is very clear on what is on the midterm, final exam and brand audit project. The midterm was a mix of multiple choice and short answer questions. The final was multiple choice and included a case study. The use of the 7 steps of the case study method had to be applied on the final.

Great professor, I honestly did not do much of the readings, or read the lectures. But I managed to get an A+. She is very kind and seems to love teaching.

Ms. Buchan is a sweet and amazing prof. As time passed many students would skip out on lectures and take her for granted but she was always committed to giving us the best learning experience possible. Every class she would dedicate time to the week's material, solve problems in class and answer as many questions as you have.

She's a really sweet professor. Gives you some boosts on midterms. The course itself has a lot of content and she does not cover everything from the textbook in her lectures so you have to read. But as an individual prof she's so caring and always teaches with a smile on her face! Not strict and has a lot of experience in Marketing!

Pretty solid prof, very knowledgable in marketing. Our course was almost entirely based on the textbook, though she did cover *some* content in class. Group assignment that was worth 30% (more than the midterm/exam which were 25% each) & it was easy :) Responds to emails quickly and goes above and beyond to make sure your questions are answered!

Professor Buchan wants her students to succeed and does her best in helping them, she's available for feedback and answers questions promptly, overall a great prof, I highly recommend her!

Polina is an amazing professor, she is very helpful and responds quickly when needed. She also has a very clear grading criteria, if you follow it, youll definitely do well in the course. Would take another course from her again!
