The prof cleared up any confusion, was understanding but if you had any questions she asked to post on discussions which I felt uncomf. gave good feedback but very strict marker. seemed strict but understanding. it was self learning but a bit hard. maybe I might have taken another course

Dr. Carney is an amazing professor. They made an 8 am lecture fly by. They give amazing critical insights into disorders. Their tests are extremely fair. If you attend all the classes, they will give you hints on what will be on tests so go! The assignment was fun and easy. Super-glad I had them for this course.

if you are in psy 325 IGNORE ALL OF THE BAD REVIEWS. Professor Carney was genuinely one of the best I have had in my undergrad career. some how made a Monday 8am enjoyable. they're very engaging and had us laughing at times. their test is exactly what you learn in class so if you show up, you will do fine!!

Textbook isn't mandatory but make sure to get it and read it because the lectures are very heavy and the exams are in depth into the content.

The professor did not go into detail regarding concepts in lectures. On tests, however, the material was heavy and short answers were marked precisely and harshly. I did not enjoy this class, never received this low of a mark

Knowledgeable about her field of study. Gives the WORST tests in my 5 year+ academic career. Gives intentionally tricky questions, and constantly forces you to compare lecture material and textbook material. Every test WILL require you to have thorough lecture notes, and be able to remember one of the many studies brought up in lecture. Punishing.

most honest rating you'll find coming from an avg student. lectures are interesting and the 3 exams were online, and lecture heavy. They use key info they shared in class. SO GO ATTEND. There was 1 assignment which I found really intriguing. Overall, good prof, great lecture, exams were okay but focus on lectures, follow guidelines for essay.

Overly difficult grader. I don't know why she doesn't make some sort of a change because it seems nearly everyone who takes her class agrees.

Hardest marker I've ever seen. She gave online exams (open book) warning her grading will be difficult, but I didn't expect it to be this bad. Her grading makes no sense, is expected to be highly detailed despite giving a short amount of time to compete tests, and the feedback implies she expected details that weren't mentioned in the questions.

none of the lecture materials were on the test. Very textbook heavy, and no clear grading rubric on the paper. very hard marker on the paper assignment.
