Great professor, very knowledgeable and engaging with the way she lectures. You walk away with practical understanding of sustainability concepts that can be applied to the real world. And her hair is amazing!
Professor Edge is honestly a great professor and is very considerate of her students. She makes learning her content fun and practical.
One group project, a quiz, a term assignment, weekly discussion posts, and a participation portfolio. She provides feedback and is fair for all assessments. Highly recommend this prof.
Sara provides proper feedback in a timely manner and gives constructive criticism. I actually enjoy this course.
Avoid if you can. Dr Edge can be engaging at times but you really need to pay close attention to every details.
As participation matters, it is highly recommended to attend all her lectures because it's worth every moment. Sara is a really thoughtful and friendly among students. It was a pleasure to talk to her during office hours on the course content.
Dr. Edge is a wonderful professor and very inspiring. She is passionate about her subject and motivating her students. The material is interesting and Sara is always available for assistance. Instructions are clear but make sure to put time into your assignments; your details matter to her and you won't get a good mark if you don't put in the time.
Class had participation marks, group assignment, and 2 papers (ones a take home exam). If you put in effort you'll definitely get a good grade. There's no exam for this class just a short paper. Her lectures can be kinda boring but she does try to engage the class. Overall it was a pretty good class.
I like to call a Sara an academic hippy. She is extremely intelligent but really down to earth, and one of the best profs Ive had at Ryerson. She definitely prefers group presentations and creates the groups herself. She also doesnt use textbooks but posts a lot of academic literature and research papers. Participation usually counts for marks.
Sara is amazing. Definitely establish a relationship with her and participate in class. I thought I participated in her class a lot and only got a 75% for participation. A lot of her content is minimal so it's difficult to find information from course content and go above and beyond. This is probably where marks are lost.
