Read slides, do online homework, do a few textbook questions. You'll be fine. Don't even need to go to his class, but he's a nice guy and will try his best to answer questions for you, even if he's slightly awkward he is a fair marker... what am I saying, he's too generous. You can learn each lesson less than an hour, swear you can't fail QMS.
This was the first year he taught this course, so it may change when other classes have him, but so far, he was amazing. Really knows his stats, explains well, and best of all, this class is very easy to get a good mark. Just don't be stupid and not do the homework and then come say you didn't like him c'mon. Best prof for this class.
Very inexperienced and boring lecturer. Not confident in his own abilities. Not clear on what he wants, and tests (3) don't match up with timeline in learning the objectives of the test. Slides are usually confusing and he offers little help in clarifying. Information in slides usually isn't relevant to tests, which are calculation based. He tries.
Lectures seem endless because he is quite monotone, but he makes up for it by giving a very nice and long break. Very good at explaining and gives plenty of examples, but I would suggest doing textbook questions.
Amazing Prof. Even though I didn't do that well in the course because I stopped waking up for my 9am class which is entirely my fault, he was knowledgeable, funny in the sense that he was awkward but it was always amusing, always tried to help students in answering all the questions. He always ended class early, and told us what to study for tests
Erik Jensen is straightforward and only gives you lessons that will be important for finals. I liked his classes because you get much needed practice in each class, which most QMS profs do not do. A lot of practice questions are in his slides, which can easily be learnt if you do not attend class. He's a super chill guy.
he is a good guy but not a great prof. he is clueless all the time..... doesnt even know what will be on the tests
Erik Jensen is one of my favourite profs at Ryerson. He is a bit awkward and at times he can be a bit boring however he does an amazing job teaching. Most people who who get bored easily might find him annoying but he explains content well. only drawback is that sometimes he is a bit clueless with tests and quizzes because he doesn''t make them
