He might be my favourite prof. Have him as your professor because he is a fair marker and will give you a chance to pass.
This professor mainly just reads off his slides and adds some annotations which are usually pretty messy and hard to follow. I would probably recommend attending his classes because they are hard to use by yourself. If you do attend his class and ask questions he will try his best to answer them. To do well in 428 you must use YouTube.
He is decent for this class, but for 428 not so much.
I absolutely loved having him as a prof. He is so understanding and willing to help at any time. Its a shame hes not teaching COE628, however, I really enjoyed having him for all my other classes.
He knows how to teach ,and make the concepts easy to understand ,if the student attends in his class ,they enjoy ,and understand the material ,if not attend in his class they will be loser because his class is a chance to learn deeply
He is amazing professor ,if you attend in his class ,you learn alot
Patrick is a nice guy. His lectures are often long and boring due to him mainly reading off slides. This is probably due to the nature of the course being terminology heavy. However, he gives subtle hints for the exams, so it means a lot to attend class. He is also a very nice person to talk to after class.
Classes are spent mostly by reading off of slides and talking about the main ideas. He is nice and caring in that you can hand in assignments to boost your mark if necessary. That being said, he needs to be punctual and post class notes and assignments ahead of time, not at the last minute. On the other hand, his knows his material very well.
Attend class, pay attention to the important points he emphasizes, and ask questions. Easiest class I ever took and barely ever studied for it, lectures and previous exams were sufficient for me to get an A+.
I was scared in the beginning of the semester as i heard its his first time teaching this course, but fortunately it went well in the end. He is a very considerate professor, people say that attending his classes for this course were useless but tbh this course is hard to teach theoritacly and yet he would make sure you understand your doubts.
