Midterm and final are exactly like the practice quizzes he gives. Lectures are kept short and all assessments are reasonable, with clear grading criteria. Prof encourages students to complete after-class quizzes together, and helps you if needed. Great teacher for a fun course.

Love this professor! Really passionate about what he teaches, but more descriptively it's like every class is something he enjoys talking about to the fullest, you can see it in the glow in his eyes, the warmth in his voice when talking about astronomy, and the genuine desire to see his students succeed, you'll get all this even through zoom meets.

Okay u probably know how amazing he is but i was going thru a really hard time during my time in this class and Prof Luca is one of the most understanding and sweetest people at TMU. I always felt like I could email him if I needed any extra support/discussing extensions. Also has amazing lectures. He wants everyone to succeed.

Great professor, and an easy marker. You don't need to go to his lectures, but it is recommended since he actually makes them engaging and worthwhile to be there. He made an amazing subject and course better than it already is.

Best professor i've ever had honestly!!! Such a sweetheart and super caring of his students. Very easy marker as well you'll most likely get a 100% on your research report. His lectures are VERY engaging and he makes content so easy to learn. For midterms and exams you barely have to even study just studying for a day or two will do you good.

I was hesitant to take his class because of the subject being intimidating, but am glad I did. Was a great course with him. He has a way of teaching that makes things easy to understand and is quite entertaining. Is a great teacher. Highly recommend.
