She's honestly great

The best professor I've had in all my 4 years at Ryerson. She is an angel and wants you to do well and makes everything she teaches super interesting! Just go to class and take notes because the ones she uploads are not enough to pass. Reading the textbook is not necessary if you write what she says. Took 3 classes with her and got a 4.33 in all!

I loved Meagan Mackenzie. She was caring and really wanted her students to pass the course. The questions on the two midterms and final came from both her lectures and the textbook. The assignment was super easy. If you come to lecture and pay attention, also do your readings, you're in it to pass. She also gives out hints for the exams.

Great prof! Textbook wasn't really necessary. You could probably get by not showing up to class but she is nice so you should come! Lectures were very entertaining. The tests were all simple and straightforward and she gives you hints (basically tells you) about what the written questions for the tests are. Take her class!

Dr. Mackenzie is extremely caring and empathetic. You can tell she not only has a genuine interest for psychology, but also wants her students to succeed. Her lectures are engaging and her exams are very fair. The instructions for the assignment were clear, and the textbook is really not necessary, although helpful. Overall amazing professor!

The best professor I have ever had at Ryerson so far. Her lectures are engaging and informative and are heavily based on the tests meaning you don't need to read the textbook to succeed. She also gives away short answer hints if you attend lectures. Assignments and tests were easily marked and built confidence in my abilities.

Dr. Mackenzie was an absolute sweetheart! Despite 9am lectures, she always did her best to make class interesting and engage students. Posts slides online, and gives very clear instructions for assignments and exams. Written assignment was an easy A as the guidelines could not have been more specific. Would definitely take a course with her again!

Dr MacKenzie is by far one of my favourite professors at Ryerson. I enjoyed every single one of her classes and would take a class with her again in a heartbeat. Although going to class is not mandatory, it is definitely helpful for the midterms and final exam. I would recommend anyone to take one of her classes!

She is a gem within the Psychology department. Her lectures are informative and engaging while ensuring it is still a degree of difficulty that is appropriate for a university level course. The assessments are clear and she makes sure there are no surprises on midterms. As long as you review your notes regularly you can easily get a B+ or higher.
