really inspiring and amazing professor
I didn't get the grades I wanted but his lectures were fun and engaging. He encourages people to participate and discuss in class. Doing the readings before the class and going to the lectures must be done to clarify and understand the concepts. His accent isn't as bad as people say it is. Never had trouble with struggling to understand him.
He's ok. The teaching style is unlike most professors at Tmu because he dosent utilize any slides. Honestly if you do the readings and take notes for exactly what he says in class, you should do fine in the course. Accident is heavy and takes time to get used to but he's a old school prof.
A lot of people will hate on Dr.B because of his teaching style or accent. DONT listen to them. He is a very caring and funny prof. He has no slides which is better so you can learn to take notes by simply listening to him as he uncomplicates the most complicated readings. Learn to take notes without slides, you're literally in uni.
if you're not religious, pick a religion and pray. not only does this prof have not a single idea about any concept he is trying to convey in any of his lectures, he cannot speak clearly -- he has one of the thickest italian accents i have ever heard. I am fluent in italian, it is my first language, and even I had difficulty understanding him
Professor Bertolini is absolutely fantastic! He is exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate about the LAW 573 course material. I would love to take another class with him!
Really Knowledgeable prof and has an amazing teaching style which keeps you engaged. Regardless the course content was extremely difficult. Along with about 30+ page readings every week, this class was no joke. Sending this to all econ majors, do NOT take this course if you dont like law. Also if you don't attend class you'll probably fail.
Do not be fooled by the "introduction" prefix in this course's title. The material is not new if you're in econ, but the application is really hard to grasp unless you go to every lecture and prepare in advance. Halfway through the course, the content takes a 90 degree turn into a completely new area, and the final is cumulative. So good luck.
poorly structured class. lots of weekly readings so don't fall behind. Profs aren't accommodating and want you to know 'everything' on tests. uses a weird teaching style and it can be hard to follow along. he's a tough grader and looks for specific answers on the midterm and final. attending the lectures helps with understanding the material!
This teacher cannot speak English at the minimum proficient level in order for you to understand what he says. The course is structured very poorly and they mark very hard. Avoid this teacher if you can.
