The TA marks harder than my engineering TA's. Mind u this is a lower liberal course. Sweet prof though

The Prof is amazing, by far one of the best profs I have ever encountered however the TA needs god in her life cuz idk why she marks like that completely unacceptable and disrespectful comments. Change the TA the class would be in a much happier state.

the TA may be too woke

The TA is on a power trip and behaves like the grinch. AVOID!

amazing prof! she makes her lectures really enjoyable since she tells them like a story. Make sure to go to all the lectures though as it is easy to fall behind.

I took the course for the sake of all good reviews that the prof has, and was expecting a gpa boost. However, i ended up regretting taking it because of the TA. She marked the papers very strictly, though I shouldn't have had any deduction based on the rubric the prof provided. The prof is very knowledgeable btw.

The best course I've ever taken BUT I would not recommend it because of the TA. The prof is very kind and knowledgeable, her lectures didn't even feel like a lecture, they were super enjoyable. I wish there were a more reasonable TA though, she graded papers very strangely and cut marks for reasons that don't add up. Def was in a bad mood or smtg.

The prof is amazing at making the class enjoyable. The TA for this course, however, grades the term paper very harshly and very unacceptably. The course would be better off with a different TA

really interesting lectures and easy material with not much work. just make sure you attend all lectures and no way you won't pass

Amazing professor! Each lecture is essentially "story time" where she covers the story of a public health incident, the main people, their lives, how it affects life today, etc. She is super knowledgeable and a great narrator. This is in the top 3 courses i've ever taken. Just make sure you take notes during lectures, as the exam is based on them.
