Fathima Saleem

She is a very fair professor, you definitely get the mark you deserve. That being said, you do have to work for your mark and she will not bump you up AT ALL. She's a tough grader, so make sure that you ask for clarification with the group project. All in all, she really cares about her students, and is always willing to help.

hard marker, good lectures

Professor Saleem is one of my favourites! Her classes are interesting, midterm and exam is fine and its all multiple choice, and she is very helpful and responsive. I remember our exam grades were out in a few hours after we did the exam! She's also very fair with grading and I like this because you get what you work for.

Her lectures were very interesting and she explains everything from the textbook but better. Be aware of her assignments, she's a really hard marker and makes you work for your mark. Also the midterm and exam were a bit tricky so know your stuff inside and out, especially the metrics.

I took this class in fall 2017- honestly you have to earn your grade. Shes a great prof, and she explains the concepts really well. Midterms and finals are okay if you study. For the assignment find a good group. I got a good grade in the assignment and I read the instructions and asked questions. Do the research pool thing for bonus marks

Teaches the concepts of the course well, but marks pretty hard on average

Her tests are harder compared to other profs in MKT100 and her lectures aren't related to the content that's in her tests. Take a different MKT100 prof if you want to do well in this class.

Her lectures are very dry, and always wants complete silence when doing her lectures. She marks extremely hard when it comes to the group project, you either have to her ideas or its wrong and given minimal marks even though you have more than enough proof to support your idea. I would not recommend her.

Such a kind lady! This course in general can fool you to think its so easy and you wont have to show up to class, but its not. Do your weekly readings and keep up with everything. I did very well on my assignment because instructions were followed. Amazing professor and she knows exactly what she's talking about.

Take her class if you want to hear about how she got a master's in Barcelona at least once per lecture. If you're trying to get a good grade in the class, take a different prof - she marks the group project VERY hard.
