This is a good professor. You can as him almost anything tech related. If you ask for help he will spend extra time after class to make sure the topic is cleared.
Naan, lol, bridges concepts to real applications. Took his course a few years back and it's still a reference for new embedded projects. His side stories show real practical experience. Respect!
The only course where concepts become real circuit.
Nhan was a great professor in class, always helpful with questions after lectures. Negatives- no clear schedule on quizzes, labs etc. so difficult to balance with other classes. Lecture slides were not posted regularly or changed/updated without notice. Disorganized delivery of course contents made the course more difficult than it needed to be.
He doesn't have enough intelligence for teaching this course. He focuses on repeating easiest things that could be skipped and avoids dealing with tricky situation.
He is a great professor when it comes to teaching. Likes to explain and really wants his students to read and understand the stuff being taught. Don't skip any lectures specially after the first half or else it will be very difficult to understand the course material by yourself.
This professor is extremely difficult. He offers no practice problems. His exams are more difficult than what is taught on slides and labs. He doesn't have office hours. He expects too much for a first year course. His labs are fun and easy to do I will say this but they don't prepare you for the exams.
He's an easy going guy in class but can be strict when it comes to labs marks. He really want his students to learn and APPLY the topics covered as clearly shown by his tests questions.
This prof made the course relevant to the technologies we use everyday. He seem to indirectly teaching his students to hack software by disassembling machine code. Take notes because he gives lots of hints to test questions in class.
