Devin Glowinski

I am suprised by all the good reviews, because he has been anything but helpful. Does not offer any feedback on assignments, and takes weeks to mark back. Very difficult to get a hold of over email as well. Not getting marks back before the course drop date to not reflect on transcript is very irresponsible.

It was impossible to get a clear response from him regarding assignment instructions.

I LOVED and learned a lot from this course! The group project was really easy as long as you're organized. Devin answered emails promptly and is very helpful with assignments when I asked questions. Includes discussion posts, group assignments, and individual assignments (all easy). No test/quizzes/exams.

Devin is a great prof, take his classes when you can! There is a lot of group work but if you get it done early it's so easy to do.

Devin was one of the best profs I had! This class was an intensive class and you had to complete over 5 days. It was a wonderful experience taking him and I highly recommend you all to take him! The course material and assignments are very interesting and you get to learn many things about interprof education that I found intriguing.

I loved this prof!! He's so sweet and really puts in an effort to include students in lecture. I loved the syllabus, the "in the news" discussion posts were a lot of fun. Fair marker - he's not afraid to give 90s, which is so rare from politics profs, but if you put in the effort, it will be rewarded! Very friendly and I learned a lot :) 10/10

Only half way through my semester with Professor Glowinski but I can already say that I've learned perhaps more relevant information about politics than any other Prof in my four years at Ryerson. He teaches very relevant information about POG and the jobs market, brings interesting guest speakers and his assignments teach actual life skills. 10/10

AMAZING PROF! He marks easy if you put in the work and is kind! Would def take another course with him. The course itself is okay it was an intensive online due to COVID19 and required daily assignments with a group presentation on the last day and an essay due 3 weeks after the course is done

ON Politics was fun with this prof. Always made discussions relevant and was very accessible. Overall an easy course, and I would take again

His lecturing style can be dry at times, but I did enjoy the discussions on recent community affairs - usually related to the course content. Overall hes a reasonable marker and cares about his students. Also pretty laid back which is helpful during midterm/exam season, or if you have a really restricted schedule. that requires some flexibility.
