She doesn't give free marks, you have to work hard if you want a good mark, but Professor Graben is willing to provided additional assistance in office hours, the skills learned in this course WILL help a lot in the upper year law courses.
Sari is not the most organized professor. But that doesn't make her a bad professor. In fact, I've learned a lot from her classes. She's a tough grader, but what are you looking for? Real life or a utopia where everyone gets a participation ribbon? You have a lot of opportunities in that course to go ask for help before the midterm and final paper.
Decent course but Graben made it easier to get by. You are only marked on the midterm & final so make sure you completely understand everything. Notes should be made up from the textbook, her power points & in-class lectures. Tests are on the harder side so make sure to practice w/ some case studies
Very difficult to get a good grade but she is a great professor. Needs to ease up on her grading though. She gave me the lowest grade I have ever received in the course I tried hardest in.
Not taking any class from this teacher ever, marks everything way too hard compared to other professors..
The midterm and exam was so hard, and wasn't marked fairly
Very knowledge as a scholar and a lawyer, but terrible professor. Lectures are very disorganized;does not follow the textbook or ppts. Assignments unclear and she is very vague when asked qs about the assignments. Also had her for LAW204 which is a beginner class, yet she expected to us to know how to perfectly analyze a case with no guidance.
Gives the impression that she really doesnt care about being a professor. While she seems knowledgeable about the law, she does not explain things with clarity. Assigns work without any context or examples, which makes it much more difficult to do well on individual assignments.
