Not being a music student his lectures were informative and easy to grasp. He provides a lot of examples and the questions on tests/quizzes match what was learnt. He makes you work for it because no slides are posted but as long/take notes you'll do fine! Provided extra credit too. Amazing prof took him twice

Pete is passionate, witty, and extremely knowledgeable. He taught every class with genuine enthusiasm. His expectations are clear for assignments, and are definitely reachable if you keep in touch and start your work early. I've taken his classes twice now. As long as you show care, effort and engagement in your work, you will do just fine.

18 page yap outlines, very specific and could basically make his own format style at this point because what..? Otherwise cool course! He is pretty funny and a chill dude. He plays shows sometimes so if you want brownie points go see him?!

DROP THE COURSE. Not a chill elective like you think. Someone said he marks the essay like a Sylvia Plath novel and MEANT IT!! told me I lacked basic comprehension when his essay outline was 18 pages long. attendance is mandatory as he doesn't post slides and no pictures of them allowed because he doesn't "consent to his photo being taken".

The best professor I have ever had. Very inspiring. Only downside is he does not post lecture slides but provides lecture notes of the key terms/concepts that will be discussed so follow that and fill in as you listen to the lecture. Follow the writing criteria for the essay exactly and you will be fine. All assignments/exams are asynchronous.

His lectures mostly consist of him asking students questions they clearly do not have the answer to and mocking them when they answer incorrectly. His 17-page essay outline is very clear on what he does not want in the essay; however, there is very little explaining what he does want.

Claims I misread the assignment outline and then received a 0% on a 30% essay. No help whatsoever. Please avoid.

Overall, a pretty solid prof. Even though he goes through the slides fast, he does provide good feedback for assignments and midterm + exam were easy.

Even though his essay has strict guidelines, it was still achievable to get an A+ with the midterm, exam, and even the bonus marks for final grade. Love this prof!!
