Dana Patrascu-Kingsley

Her lectures were pretty engaging. Okay grader on assignments, however, a hard marker for the discussion post/ participation grades, which is 20% of your grade.

She's amazing.

Such a caring and understanding professor who genuinely wants students to succeed and learn. She is extremely passionate about the subject matter. Would take again.

She was an absolute delight and super understanding for late submissions. Her choices in short stories were enriching and diverse :)

I took crel204 with her. She was so sweet and helpful always understood. The content was a little boring but if you like reading it's fine. The lectures are recorded and there's discussion posts but it was manageable. She honestly helped me a lot while i was struggling with the readings. One of the best profs I had in tmu.

She's kind, caring and responds to emails outside of class fast. She does tend to read off the slides in class and encourage other people to speak, but she is also a very fair marker as long as you follow the assignment outlines. I would take one of her courses again

Can be unclear with assignment expectations and a slightly difficult marker as a result. Two classes a week can be a lot. It's a lot of listening to your peers talk about the book we are reading. Not much lecture content. Very nice person though and does a good job moderating discussion during class.

Professor Patrascu-Kingsley was so amazing! The readings, discussions, and essay topics were all really interesting and a joy to engage in. She is also a really fair marker! I would definitely recommend taking a class with her. :)

Loads of readings. I was catching up with the readings on TTC. she also is so harsh on the marking. but sill doable !

Prof Dana is one of the best profs I've had at TMU!! She's super kind and helpful when you email her, and she's very flexible with due dates which is great. Discussion posts and participation are graded, but as long as you stay up to date, you'll be fine. I really cannot say enough good things about her!
