I absolutely loved taking illustration with Kyle. As someone who was about to go into fine arts and been in art school my whole life, I've never met an instructor as kind and caring as Kyle. He was super considerate and you can tell that he is passionate in what he does (he's a brilliant artist!). Genuinely the best class I've taken in TMU fashion.

Really passionate about what he teaches and making students feel confident in their work. I have taken all of his courses and would take more if I could. great taste in music too:) honestly TMU would not be the same without him

Kyle is a great teacher who goes in depth about art, really seems passionate in what he does, and also gives good feedback to what you're working on when needed. I was already excelled in illustration, but he took my skill to another level with his amazing feedback and advice. I would really recommend doing one of his classes!

Prepare for the dad jokes! Kyle is a great illustrator and he teaches it well. He allows students to listen to music in class, is kind to share tools with us, and engages us in a relaxed and unacademic way. Bring your own tools and equipment! But if you need something, he's likely going to help you out. Good guy!

Kyle is seriously the best, he's so caring and wants for each student to do well. Expect to spend a lot of time on each assignment. He's accessible outside of class for feedback and takes the time to look deeper into your work. He's a cool guy with great music taste and makes each class fun!

kyle is the BEST!! Ive had him for 2nd-year illustration & for a lot of my digital illustration classes. hes understanding, approachable & knowledgeable, Ive never been able to just talk to a prof about issues Im having with my work or being behind & he is extremely understanding and motivating,if u have the chance to take a class with him-DO IT!
