Morteza Mashayekhi

The course is hard. Morteza does everything to help students get a decent grade, though. He would go through the labs, answer any questions, and give examples that are extremely similar to those that appear on midterm/final. He can be monotonous in his lectures but can't really blame him because the content is not super exciting.

A professor that really cares about his students. He is willing to help and help students succeed in the course. This course requires you to attend every class and studying outside of class hours is highly recommend to do well.

This can be a tough course, but Morteza understands that students struggle with it. It's important to show up to every class and sign the attendance sheet; this will show him that you put in the effort. 100%ing the labs is easy enough if you work with others. Read the little textbook for the theory parts of the midterm and final exams.

Do not be fooled by the high rating, Morteza is not a good prof. Aside from being overly rude to students and monotone in lecture, he does not properly and thoroughly teach you the content this is likely why students say his test are difficult. It's clear he doesn't care about the class and the SPSS assignments are pointless. Prepare to selfstudy

Excellent prof. Really cares about students. Explain concepts very clearly. You should not skip class. Midterm and final exams are very difficult.

I don't understand why he has such a high rating. He is not understanding of people's situations (i.e. you miss one class for legitimate reason and you still lose marks with no make up option), he just glances over important concepts and moves very fast. His labs and tests are super tough, and he doesn't explain them. He also makes a ton mistakes!

Morteza is an amazing prof, teaches you exactly what you need to know step by step and doesnt over complicate things. This class is really interesting! You have to work hard for your grades but if you show up to every class and put some effort in Morteza will help you understand the concepts. Plus he is cute

Morteza is a good prof, the only issue is he uses way more difficult content for his midterm and exam. Class is mandatory because lab quizzes are done each week and are worth 4%. He'll help you during labs just make sure to pay attention and put in effort.

Morteza was not a bad professor. He does help you if you ask for help and does not care if you work together on the labs. The tests on the other hand were extremely tough, with many not doing well. There is a lot of content to memorize and math to practice. MKT 700 is a tough class, and you need to show up for the labs, which are 4 percent each.

Going into this class I heard many things, such as how difficult it can be with the wrong professor. However, Morteza is truly an outstanding professor who cares about his students! He is always there to aid you when needed and explains the concepts very thoroughly. Taking the course with him really made understanding the material very easy!
