Maanit Zemel

Shes one of my fav law professors. The content was super engaging and shes super clear on what she expects on her answers. She also covers case-study exercises that are literally what shes gonna ask on her exams. To do well all you gotta do is literally attend class and participate. Her slides are good too. Don't really understand the poor reviews.

She is horrible at teaching, has super unrealistic expectation and does not care about her students. Asked her to re-check my paper and told me that i have marked it there are no errors. My paper was amazing btw! so avoid her at all costs!

Test was unbelievably hard compared to my other test

This professor sets very tough exam expectations. At the beginning of the class, around 60-70 students were there, but only 45 showed up for the exam. While the grades haven't been given out yet, they might be lower when they are. It's surprising that this professor still gets good reviews.

This prof just read off the slides and said "the budapest convention" so many times I was hearing it in my sleep. Funny enough, she didnt test on the budapest convention at all. Everyone thought they got a 100% on the midterm based on the questions but the class average was below 50% for the first midterm.

Do not take her. Has unrealistic expectations and doesn't care about student success.

Maanit expects a lot and is a very hard marker. She also gets mad if you don't wear a mask even when it is not mandatory.

Really good professor and has an interesting class. She really teaches you and explains the content well. The essay is marked fairly and is a great grade booster. The Midterm and Final are marked tough but if you follow how she wants questions answered there won't be an issue. Overall would take her again and this class!

so much reading i would not recommend

There's a lot of reading every week and if you don't do the work you definitely wont pass.
