My friend in another year had her for a prof too. Best ever.
Terrific teacher, great projects, very inspirational.
Best professor I had at RSID. Knows something about every aspect of design. Connected me with 3 potential employers and I got a job. Encouraging and inspiring.
I really enjoined Professor Sannella's advice and guidance throughout my design process. She was always encouraging about my design and didn't try to impose her ideas on me like some other profs. I feel like she took my design and made it better by challenging me. However, don't miss class, she notices and doesn't like it.
Very nice. Challenges us to develop our own ideas rather than being told what to do. Never enough time in class for discussions. By the time she sees each of us we get less than 10 minutes each. She is inspirational because she is very successful.
Her not giving constructive criticism is an understatement. If you prefer to learn more and be challenged, choose a different professor. Pros: -can be reached by phone, understanding, knowledgeable on materials Cons: -doesn't give you any feedback at all, uninspirational, always on her phone, tough marker
She was really great with helping us look for ideas and inspiration, but almost never gave constructive criticism. I get the feeling that if something in my project wasn't realistic or viable, she wouldn't have pointed it out to me.
I like that she always asks us what we think to get us to discuss subjects. She doesn't really lecture, but rather try to engage us. Lots of in-class assignments and participation marks.
