He's a good prof, his power points are not too long. To do well in this course, you really have to attend all his lectures and take good notes because everything you need to know on the exams come from the lectures (SUPER IMPORTANT), as he also give hints. One quiz, midterm, paper and Final exam.
The course itself is very extensive. However, Paul is amazing. his slides are beyond helpful and his midterm+ Final exam is exactly if not very similar to this slides. He does not trick you and he is more than willing to help you out. If you show him you understand the concept he will give u marks.
Such an easy class. He tells you exactly what he is going to test you on and will give you sample questions to help prepare you. The questions on the midterm and final are also very similar (if not identical) to the sample questions.
This prof was probably one of the best profs I've had in Ryerson. Extremely helpful, and his lectures are clear. For those saying exams are hard, probably skipped most classes. He got to know I want to go to law school after my final exam, and he gave useful advice and tips as well. I'm hoping he teaches other courses this fall in law.
His powerpoints were really helpful. He cared about everyone doing well in the course. Paul was very approachable and understanding. He's a great prof, would take him again!
Oh boy.. this guy is tough to listen to. His lectures are super longer and very boring, he picks on individuals to speak and his exams are near impossible. I had a friend in the other class with a different prof who had a much better experience, this guy sucks. Stay away if you can, he things he's all that because he's a lawyer... great dude.
he is by far one of the toughest grader's at ryerson. he is so unfair and really has no sympathy for anyone. he thinks he is a law school professor or something, and his powerpoint slides are the absolute worst. he is a terrible professor, I don't know how he got this job. He doesn't even know law that well, he is a bad prof over all.
honestly, Lomic isn't that bad of a guy, but he grades hard and his classes are BORING. Not interesting at all, it is painful to get through his classes. Also he thinks that nobody can touch him and is very cocky, not a fun guy to be around. The course itself is boring and you need to memorize everything, not an easy course. Overall not good prof.
VERY tough tests for this class and very long lectures. The course is very boring and there are two thick textbooks you must have memorized inside and out. Our whole class is practically failing because of this prof.... he is very hard mark I mean VERY HARD. He likes to pick on random students to answer questions. He is very cocky lawyer don't like
Prof Lomic is a great guy and knowledgeable about the material, as he should be. He is a little bit arrogant however and thinks because he is a lawyer, he is untouchable. He is a sweet man though and very kind, can be a tough grader though. you only have 2 tests and a take home exam so everything worth a lot. Try to avoid if possible, very boring.
