Amir Sedaghat

Amir was the best French teacher Ive ever had. He explains difficult concepts very easily and I love his use of Word documents in online classes to illustrate examples. Later he provided these docs so I can reference and study on my own time. I hope to continue studying French with this prof and highly recommend.

Pretty disorganized dude if you ask me, doesn't post much about anything on D2L and hardly explains anything well. Hardly gives much feedback either. Not to mention, you could literally show up to every single class and participate and he'll still give you only like an 80 for participation. AVOID!!!

Avoid at all costs!!! He tries to explain grammar but he can't explain it well for the life of him. Tests are way too hard for what the class is meant to be. He comes off as arrogant and isn't approachable at all.

He comes off as arrogant and point out every mistake in your pronunciation, which is fine. But it can put on the spot and for those who are not as comfortable with the language can feel insecure. He doesn't create a great learning environment for those aren't nearly fluent in French.
