Fair, but firm. Smart and an inspiration. Glad to have her as a professor for this class.
She really shares real life examples, explains the material well, but most importantly, wants students to succeed in the business world. It's hard for me to believe she is only an HR prof. She explores more than HR and is passionate about business. Hard to get an A, but an great class to take. I don't like the small assignments worth 5%.
The Prof is amazing. Very smart and shares her business experiences that enrich the dry textbook material. I highly recommend this prof. Her marking is by no means 'easy' but she is fair and clearly articulates her expectations - as long as you attend her classes!
Tori is very clear with her lectures. Her weekly classes are very well organized, and she does team building projects in almost every class. She could take more control of the group discussions, and help the class stay on topic and focused. Beware of the long individual assignments tho they're not worth a lot. She's quick to respond back by email!
Harper is a very nice person, however she wasn't as detailed as I wanted. She spends most of the class talking about real examples, but very little time talking about actual content. Harper ends class very early and is eager to take breaks. Maybe its Ryerson's fault for designing a bad course, regardless I learned very little from this course.
Tori had amazing lectures. She is very knowledgable in answering all questions and gives lots of examples. She is fair and gave great feedback on what to expect with assignments, mid term, and exam. If she had taught any other course I would love to have taken them.
picked up business knowledge from this course. not just about HR.
Lectures give you a taste of what it is like in the 'real world'. Professor Harper is knowledgable and really smart. She doesn't put up with distractions in the class. I'm learning more than I ever thought I would about human resources management.
Great class. Amazing Prof. Hard to get an A, but worth the effort.
