Bolor was an amazing professor. His lectures are very clear and he gives exercises that are very helpful in learning the concept. So as long as you go over material learned you should do very well. I'm not sure why anyone would rate him low as he's super fair and as long as you put in some effort (like in any other course) you should get an A.
Dr. Narankhuu is among the most exceptional professors I have encountered here at TMU. His responsiveness to emails is commendable, and he consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that his students have a thorough understanding of the course material. The examinations are fair and align closely with the lecture content and the chapter problems.
Assignments and tests were really Hard
Personally, I found the course very interesting and the course was very manageable. All I did was attended all classes, participate in the Socrative quizzes (they're optional, but still do them because he can boost final grades), and redid all the exercise problems and quizzes, and I was able to do well in the course. The prof was great overall.
Overall, it's a good class considering that there's a lot of material to digest. However, Prof.Bolor expect a lot for the final.
Really hard Final exam dont take this course its really bad
The final was really hard
Very Knowledgable prof. Explained all content during lectures clearly and effectively. Very approachable and was always willing to help to make sure you understood all concepts he went through during lectures. Midterm and final were straight forward if you attend all lectures and go through the in class examples. Text is also easy read. Great prof!
During the class, he will take up the practice questions, so make sure you go! The midterm and exam consist of short answer and long answer questions which include graphs and calculations, so don't expect multiple choice questions. He also marks the term report really easy, so it can help you boost your mark.
Such a kind and caring professor, I absolutely recommend taking him for an econ class. He actually cares about his students learning and provides a lot of examples to help them understand concepts. The marking is very reasonable for the midterm and the essay. Go to class, do the examples and you will do good.
