Wonderful professor. Made the content easy to understand and very happy to help. Made learning about GIS fun. Very helpful if you have questions about a career in GIS.
I really enjoyed this prof! He was very clearly with the assignments, detailed with feedback and always responded to my emails within 24 hours. Highly recommend!
Professor Williams will instantly reply to emails, providing generous help. Very easy assignments. Great bird course to take for your open electives.
Responded to all of our classes questions/emails instantly. I've never seen a prof respond so quickly and follow up diligently on any question. This really helped to progress through more technical aspects of GIS.
I could have easily learned everything from Google. Waste of time and money.
Through online class, very accessible and answers questions well. Easy-to-follow lectures explained in understandable terms. Does not test on unimportant details, and tests based on how well you understood the main material. Only issue is assignment instructions were unclear, because he is very lenient, as long as you put in research.
Great Prof that is very lenient with deadlines depending on your needs. Responds quickly to questions and is flexible with formatting/structure of assignments, as well as how you interpret the questions, since what's more important to him is the content and effort you put in.
There are 3 assignments and then an exam worth 30%. The instructions for the assignments are vague but he does respond to emails most of the time. Very easy marker.
Nice prof but grading criteria is very STRICT
He's really sweet and an easy marker too! Mark breakdown is a field assignment 20%, Major Paper Proposal 10%, Major Paper 30%, Major Paper Presentation 20%, Final 15%. Everything is group work except the final. The final was open book and on was given through D2L so we can use the internet too. The 1 hour tutorial slot was just for group work.
