He is good professor, only problem is if u want 10 percent attendance marks, it is a must for you to attend class and speak after he puts u in breakout rooms, if u didnt get into breakout rooms, hell be like sorry, u do not get your participation marks, thats the deal, otherwise hes a easy marker.
YOU'VE BEEN WARNED! He just reads off this own version of the ppt slide (w/ more detail), which you dont get access to. Participation is worth 10% and he will split you off into breakout rooms and will CALL YOU OUT during class if you dont speak up. Hes condescending & doesn't answer questions properly & doesnt help or encourage students.
Very nice prof, however, you really have to work for your participation marks during each lecture as he puts everyone into breakout rooms to discuss topics and then teach those topics to the class. The assignments are very unclear, however, the prof is very laid back in terms of his expectations. He is a fair marker.
I had Professor Sathy Sritharakumar for CMHR 733 druing Summer, he is really nice person. The lectures were really interactive and interesting, you will have to work for the grades. I really liked this class, i learned a lot and had good moments in group projects and during class.
Sathy is overall an average professor. The course content is very self-explanatory but when teaching he mainly reads off his slides. Grading-wise, he is more on the tough side and his criteria for assignments isnt the clearest.
This professor was honestly one of the worst profs I've ever had at Ryerson in my six years. He does not know the content, and does a very poor job at 'teaching' the course. Super inconsiderate and inconsistent. Expects a lot from his students with little to no instructions. I will never take a course with him again.
Horrible teacher. Never take him. The student body needs to come together and get this man fired. Gives no instructions and expects you to do everything on your own. If we could do that why would we need a teacher.
Not very considerate - especially when your group members screw you over for the team projects. Lectures are heavily based on discussions, and does not cover everything although he will still test you on them, so get ready to read.
Hes not as bad as people make him seem. His midterm and final are harder then most other hr profs however and involves a lot of writing and his lectures are very boring. But as long as you study for the course you will do well.
There are 2 midterms and an assignment + exam. The assignment is marked fairly easy. He knows that he has an accent so don't be afraid to ask him to repeat things he will happily do so. He takes attendance; it's only 10% of your grade. Overall, would definitely take his classes again!
