do no take it unless necessary. completely independent and you get no help in explanation or clarification on assignments. do not waste ur money
Absymal professor with an absurd marking scheme, notice how all the grades in my other classes are above a B+, while also having gotten a B+ in the first half of this course (PSY 102), yet somehow got a monumentally low grade in the first test of this class. Huge L of a prof
just run cuz I learned nothing. take if absolute necessity. cuz no clarification or help was provided
It's a teach yourself class. Prof acts condescending to any question asked and provides little instructional value. Grades are mainly based off 1 assignment, 1 midterm and 1 final. Test questions seem to quiz on tangent details from the book rather than understanding. A frustrating learning experience for someone who actually wants to learn.
Condescending and put in what seemed like very minimal effort to teach a premade online course. He seemed much more interested in tripping people up by testing them on random sidebars in the textbook than in actually fostering learning. His tests regularly had questions that I'm almost 100% sure were not covered anywhere in the course
Make the material very clear and easy to absorb, gives real feedbacks, involved and engaged with students and course material.
He's an administrator and not really a professor; at least in his role for this course. No in person contact as the course is online. The Chang school is a business. Paul presented no lectures, zero feedback for exams & vague criticisms for written assignments. Communication in that regard was one way
Bad and communicator. Online course so engaged via email. Responses to questions were curt, such as "read the textbook" or "I said this in a message to the class".
Extremely rigid in communication. Responses tend to be very brief, with little effort to explain why distinctions matter or to support conceptual understanding. Replies can feel dismissive rather than instructional, which limits meaningful engagement. Don't expect much pedagogical depth in written interactions
He made this class way too difficult for no reason. gpa dropper. DOES NOT FOLLOW HIM OWN RUBRIC, comes off as condescending, takes marks off of every single thing you can think of. You ask for feedback, he gives it to you, you apply it, and then boom, bad mark again. DO NOT TAKE A CLASS WITH HIM
