Xi Huo

She's literally too nice. Best math prof at york. So far, (my seventh semester) the only prof at york who really wants you to learn stuff, instead of coming to the classroom and finishing their jobs.

She's a really nice professor. Very caring, very lenient on remarking tests. Her accent is a bit hard to ignore, not a complete challenge though. If you do the homework, and ask q's then you'll be good to go. Her notes are excellent, she provides extra examples when students ask. Couldn't ask for a better prof.

Xi Huo is a really good prof. She is extremely knowledgeable and genius too. The only problem is that her class is really noisy due to students' conversations. Just sit on the front and carefully listen to her lecture and you will be ready for solving questions. No need to take notes since she posts them after her classes. Don't forget to do H.W

Great lectures.

Amazing amazing professor! Lectures were clear and concise and she goes through tons of examples. Midterm was fairly hard (class average was 37%), final was easier than my grade 12 calculus exam. Lots of my friends failed the course due to the midterm. So work hard and make sure you study well (esp. if you haven't taken calculus before).

She is AMAZING! I expected the course to be difficult which it was but she made it very easy to understand. wish she was teaching all my Math courses.
