David Naranjit

His lectures cover only a fraction of the course content. He does not even try to be engaging with students.. this class was a horrible experience. The final exam was made challenging and lengthy so students struggled to finish. I wish he tried harder to make the course more interesting and be fair with evaluations.

Dr. Naranjit is a nice guy but his teaching skills are pure trash! He discusses the lecture theory in detail but bring a pillow because he makes you want to sleep! His tests, quizzes and assignment seem easy but marks them very difficult. Don't take with him. Take with another prof. Heard he teaches CHY 330 and CHY 331 so be prepared for naps!

The worst class I have taken so far in two years of chemical engineering. This professor makes no effort to make his class mildly tolerable and makes assessments impossible. He barely teaches the content students are tested on and leaves it out of notes as well. Happy this class is finally over!

Most people that gave Dr. Naranjit a bad rating probably didn't show up to class or pay attention to his notes or practice problems. Despite his "slow" pace, he is caring, passionate & knowledgeable about the course and his assessments correspond well with the course content. It's honestly an easy A if you attend lecs and do the practice problems!

He talks super slow in his lectures and gave so many hard questions on the midterm and final exam.

He drags the content. Gives quizzes that don't even contain the material in the lectures. The time given for these quizzes aren't enough. You're better off guessing at this point since studying doesn't work for anyone. Wish I could drop but unfortunately it's a required course. Worst class I've taken thus far.

This is the worst class I have taken during my undergrad up to date. He complicates content and tests students on details, not in lecture notes. He also ensures each question has tricks within it during quizzes that are timed to be 10 minutes long. Overall horrible experience and cannot wait to be out of his class.

very passionate about what he teaches & very knowledgeable!!! his voice is very soothing so it made it difficult to stay awake during 8am lectures. midterm is basically the same every year, but the final was super challenging. very fair prof as long as u attend lectures, take notes, and pay attention!
