There's random participation marks, so make sure you know when to show up to them, sometimes he tells/hints it. Very funny and engaging prof which made everyone look forward to coming to his classes.
Consumer packaging was a last minute elective choice on my behalf, but Trung's dedication to making the subject material accessible and not too lecture-heavy was so refreshing. There's lots of participation marks and he encourages extra credit assignments. He's super understanding and accommodating, and genuinely wants you to do well in the class.
Trung kept the one-hour lectures funny and exciting, and the two-hour labs with him were as informative as they were enjoyable. I learned a lot of new things about Photoshop this year and had a lot of fun with NDE techniques.
Amazing prof, makes the content really clear, easy to understand, relatable.
Trung is amazing. Super funny, informative and he REALLY knows his stuff. But I am telling you now, you had better take incredible notes in every single class because he uses a lot of that in exams and loves tricky multiple choice with lots of scenario questions. So study hard and memorize it all!
He's hilarious and makes you understand the content instead of just learning it. If you have him you're lucky, his classes are mostly late at night but trust me it's worth it. Him and Jay are bestie goals.
Such an amazing professor! Super enthusiastic, helpful, and approachable. Wish I could have him in the future!
I never found any of his lectures "boring", Trung would look at slides but at the same he wasn't just reading them, HE would make you understand the content. A great professor and really rewards you for going to lectures
Trung was one of the best profs I've had this semester. The exam was easy, he gives hint and an breakdown of what to expect which was good. It's mandatory to attend because every lecture is testable and he normally gives your his reading notes, but its always best to write your own and to make use of the PocketPal!
