Awesome calculus prof. Good explanations and always willing to help. If you have a good foundation in algebra (ie. reasonable memory of what you learned in grade 11 and 12 university level functions), you will find this class fairly easy. If not, you probably struggle. However it is still possible to do well if you put in the work.
Very good prof, teaching for the first year. Hamid is really smart, obviously knows how to teach but it's math and business students aren't used to it. Be prepared to have a huge work load, and practice 300 questions for midterms in order to get an A. Doing that will guarantee an A. If you don't drill yourself you won't do well, easy as that.
Great prof definitely will take his classes again.
if you want to attend a class and see many mistakes being made, attend his class. Attending his class will make you scream in the middle of the class because of all the mistakes and shortcuts he takes. He will screw you over on the mid terms and put questions on it that he has not taught or even touched.
Although he is a nice guy, he does not know how to teach properly. Gives you difficult questions on midterm that were never covered in class. Some stuff, you have to teach yourself. Goes at a very fast pace, so you have to listen carefully. No powerpoint, and does not assign homework questions.
HORRIBLE PROF. And he is the only one who teaches this class this semester. No lecture notes posted, no help of any sort. He just posts page number from the textbook and says to do the questions (basically all of them). DO NOT TAKE THIS PROF IF YOU WANT TO SUCCEED.
