Midterm and Exam were hard, questions were really tough compared to the ones learned in class and from assignments, could not understand her because of thick accent, she did not make the class engaging, coming to class I would find it extremly boring, she made the class material really dull. I wish I avoided, this class definitely hurt my GPA.
Her writing is horrible and hard to understand. Her accent and soft voice may put you to sleep. To be fair we had a hot classroom but still very boring and disengaging.
had one test worth 40 percent. 60 percent exam. Also i never went to class just showed up for the tests. Just read the slides online because she just read them over in class. Do the practices as well and youll do good. Oh and use khan academy.. they helped a bit
Didn't go to class at all. Just studied from the book and read her slides. Also did A LOT of practice questions (from other supplementary resources and the ones she gave out).
She doesn't know how to teach. She has great credentials but she's lost in front of a classroom. The lectures are very long and boring and she isn't very good at explaining the information. There's often a lot of confusion. The midterm was hard but the exam was next to impossible. Thank god for the bell curve.
Shes good looking and funny at times. She has a bit of accent and I did not like her writing at all as it was messy and not clear. Her slides are very HELPFUL, no need for a textbook unless you want to know the concepts in depth. THE MIDTERM AND FINAL ARE GOOD IF YOU KNOW THE CONCEPTS VERYYYY WELL.
A liilte French accent, but better than others cause tried several pros at the beg. dont need textbooks too often, quite specific slides, helpful for questions and had knowledgeable TA, got A easuly if u learned and practiced. may recommend her cause she is new here and test is easy, though 60 or 75 MC for mid and final, all covered as learned
Jeanne Tschopp is a funny prof. She has an accent which makes understanding her a bit difficult but she did try her best. The course itself is not the most fun content but she tries to make jokes to brighten the mood. The lectures are not mandatory as she posts all her slides. HER MIDTERMS AND FINAL EXAMS ARE VERY EASY WHICH MADE UP FOR HER FLAWS.
This professor is horrible. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS. She is not clear, and seems like she has no idea what she's talking about. She also seems extremely unprepared for her lectures, saying "um" every second word. Avoid at all costs.
