WORST PROFESSOR EVER. Her lectures had no relation to textbook and we have not discussed any violence in the family unless it was from the textbook. Waste of time, she was very vague about all assignments, very picky, and did not help students in need at all. Very rude, bad attitude and does not know how to teach. Dont take this prof!! Horrible

One of the most ridiculous professors I've ever had. She's very smart but has no concept of teaching or even treating her students with respect. She had no lecture slides and just talks randomly at the class making it near impossible to make proper notes or review. She required a textbook (that she edited) but makes no connections to the readings.

No one got marks back except for 1/3 tests.. there was still two other tests, a presentation mark, written component and a final mark in which she never gave any marks. We pay a lot & like to see the breakdown of marks.im convienced they werent even marked cause all I got is a letter! What she taught was so unrelated. Wish I never bought the book.

Her lectures didn't link to textbook material at all - and sometimes didn't link to the class topic in general. I received my the grade for my first test of three back after writing the final. I never received my paper or presentation marks. Much of the class was spent having peers do presentations - one class had no lecture, only presentations.

At first I didn't think she was too bad. Her lectures were clear and understandable. Later did I realize that her lectures had nothing to do with the info in the textbook and none of her content was in the tests. She is HORRIBLE at marking. My class ended 2 weeks ago and I still haven't gotten my final marks. & she doesn't even help when you ask.

Dr. Wallis does not teach a class properly as she is all over the place. She takes forever to grade tests and assignments and did not return any work till the last day of class. Her tests are fairly specific and she is very picky .

Worst prof ever. She doesn't provide a course outline, a rubric and clear instructions. We had 3 exams and 2 papers, I didn't get any of my marks back until after the last exam and I only got 1 exam back. She knows what she is talking about but she doesn't know how to teach. Had this been my first soc class I would have been lost.
