Arta's teaching style helped me greatly improve my French pronunciation over the semester - something I have not been able to master even after years of studying french. This was one of my favourite classes. Thanks Arta!

He is a great teacher, uses a lot of communication in his class instead of lecturing like other French teachers. I've taken 5 French classes already and enjoyed his class the most. he does correct you if you say something wrong which many complained about but this is how we must learn! not an easy grader and don't expect so much hand holding.

Good guy, needs some love.

Honestly, I would not have passed if I wouldn't gone to a full French grade school and high school before taking this class. You have to teach everything to yourself andor go by only what you knew before (which is what I did)

As someone who gets extreme anxiety speaking in a different language in front of others, I always felt singled out and embarrassed when I couldn't answer a question; simply because I got nervous and tensed up. I will never take any of his classes ever again. I hate going to this class every week and would not recommend him to anyone.

I felt he talk either way too fast or used slang/slurred french. We are beginner french students, I find it hard to understand him sometimes. :P He was unclear in his lectures and I felt there was an easier way to explain the grammar points.
