He's a grumpy dude, who doesn't seem to have much of an interest in teaching. He straight up tells you that what he teaches in class WILL NOT BE TESTED. But, you have to go to class for attendance marks and to meet with your group. The 2 tests are pure textbook info, no final exam. Group project is easy. Weekly group participation questions, easy
Easy class, but the prof wasn't the best. He's an intelligent prof but does not teach a lot. Read the textbook for the tests and show up to class for attendance marks.
An important marketing class but the prof is not the best. He can be very grumpy and uses unnecessary scare tactics to motivate students. You need to show up to class to meet up with your group. The project can be challenging depending on your company, but you can do well. Overall a pain to work with.
This professor is very rude and disrespectful to students. He uses unnecessary scare-tactics to attempt to motivate students. He is unapproachable, but this course is a required class and so many students are stuck with him. Try to avoid this professor! The group project is the only thing you do all semester - hope you get a good group.
Professor does not care about students, talks down to people, is unclear and unavailable for help. Will never take this professor again.
Just use the textbook to study. Lectures are a waste of time. But lets you skip your 1 hour lecture.
Professor Wilson emphasizes participation with your group and that is essential in MKT802. He doesn't post anything online so it's crucial to attend class to pick up all of the hand outs he provides. He can be somewhat confusing at times in class with expectations but if you ask for clarification he provides straight answers. Overall a good prof.
Rob has very dry humour and expects you to show up to class (He marks you on whether you showed up). It's a boring class and many people tend not to show up, go to the 1HR lecture since your marks will rely on it. He's not very approachable nor does he encourage students to ask questions in class. Overall, he's not as bad as some made him out to be
He made my final year at Ryerson a pleasure! I have a great deal of respect for him. He has a no nonsence approach to teaching and really did a great job preparing us for the real world. He may seem unapproachable and intimidating but he's actually the nicest guy. His effort should not go unnoticed and he truly wants his students to succeed.
The nicest I can say about this guy is he is a condescending professor who is grumpy 247 and has a stick up his rear, easy tests that are straight test bank but over all just a pain to work with, he will test your patience to no end. That is all
