Lectures tend to be long with a lot of talking and tangents. Personally I think it is a waste of time but if you enjoy stories and examples her lectures are good. Study off slides and no need for readings.
10/10 would recommend. period
Oona is very kind. She's a good lecturer, talks a lot about stories and examples if that helps you memorize. She makes PPN more bearable. She marks papers easy and fair with good feedback. You do okay with just slides, somewhat better with readings. Can skip lectures and still do fine. The final was easier than midterm.
incredible professor. one of the most genuine, down to earth and caring people ever. she always makes effort to do mental health check ups, make sure everyone understand the content and honestly so cool and funny. her lectures just feel like a conversation even though you are learning, she is so intelligent and has amazing stories. love love love!!
Oona is a great prof. Powerpoint were detailed and great, would take her class again for sure.
Professor St-Amant is a gem in the rough. She is the sweetest person I've ever met in my life, and she clearly cares about the success of her students. On both of the papers done in the class I received solid feedback that was both constructive and kind. I can honestly say that my writing has improved because of her
Oona is one of the best nursing professors at Ryerson and she's so inspiring! NSE101 with her was great: she did mental health check-ins often, she was super sweet, and she really cared about her students. She even played among us with us one time lol. Her quizzes and assignments were straight forward and would always help if you needed it
Oona is one of my favourite profs! Always starts the class with a mental health checkin to see how we're all doing. She genuinely cares for her students which is awesome. Not too much work, short weekly quizzes, couple papers, pretty easy to good in this class.
Oona is so warm and nice. She always keeps asking her students "anything she can help in order to make our life easier". She understands we have a lot of stress and willing to help us out. She knows how to this class well and delivers the contents interestingly. The paper of this course is hard, and it is marked by the TA. Make sure you write well.
Oona is one of the best professors I have had at Ryerson. She really takes an interest in getting to know her students personally, which is much appreciated. Oona is a great teacher and is very approachable.
