this man is amazing he really knows his stuff
Terrible, he rambles on about random pointless things.
For the most part, you should attend the lectures because he summarises and goes over the specific chapter. Be prepared to read on your own, for the lectures cover the very general ideas within the chapter of the book. for the most part lectures are dry and boring.
Khan was a very tough professor to learn from. He was difficult to understand and he was an intimidating professor to students. The class was broken down into 2 papers, 5 quizzes and a final exam. He wasn't very clear when grading the assignments.
Im glad he is getting such bad reviews, I thougt i was stupid cause ive been doing poorly in his class and can not retain anything. He seems to enjoy agressively shooting students down when they make a comment. He is rude and a poor lecturer. He is always losing his place and missing points. Im sure he is a smart man, he just has no teaching skills
Lectures with no end result. Rambles on without any direction or purpose. Doesn't follow the course outline and is very difficult to understand. I attended one class and dropped the course. I Recommend taking the course on-line. Left his class feeling frustrated and totally uninspired.
Test questions came off the Internet and everyone was given the same grade on the essay. Pretty deplorable, really.
Very rude and unclear. The worst and the best Prof I have ever had. The worst because he does not know how to explain and it seems that he does not understand the course content clearly. The best because his inability to explain forced me to read the book thoroughly which I found very helpful.
I'm not interested in Existentialism to begin with and it I was in the matrix, I'd take the blue pill. He did nothing to spark my enthusiasm, was extremely difficult to follow most of the time and in not "giving us the answer," no definite understanding was reached. If you haven't taken philosophy before, you might be lost.
