He's an ok prof. The miderm was challenging and the average was 54% then he made an easy final with an average of 67.. I guess the grades are good for this challenging course. If you ace lyrx you can end up with a decent grade. He needs to make lectures more interesting though

If you want to learn finance don't take him. His classes are dead boring, reads off slides and doesn't prepare you for exams. Not to mention, half of his class fails midterm. Definitely not recommend him for any finance course.

The prof is nice but I didn't like the way he taught. His aim is to get you to understand finance not prepare you for the exam. His midterm and final are pure test bank (the older version). Attendance isn't mandatory, the midterm was pretty difficult class average was 55% but the final was easier average was 70%

Prof is always there to answer questions via e-mail, however, he isn't very helpful in class. Reads off slides, rarely ever goes through examples, and gets a lot of the math wrong. He is very stale and will always say that he is there to teach the finance and not the book. He definitely isn't one of those professors that stand out.

Smart guy, knows his stuff. His "class" consists entirely of reading slides prepared by the textbook manufacturer and never does any examples. He never logged in to the homework site so he couldn't help there. Told us a 59% avg on the final exam was "expected" and too bad for us. What?? Go to class b4 exam to get answers for next test

This prof is "ok." His lectures are a tad stale. He is nice and answers in-class questions with clarity. His exams and midterms are fair, if not, easy. He sometimes will give out candy to the class :p Do the hmwk and read the txtbook. If you show up, he will give hints to what questions will be on the exam (some were straight out of the textbook)

he's a fair prof. just do your work and you'll be fine. very boring though and reads off slides
