excellent professor, he does examples in class and shows where what we learn is applied in the real world. The tests are straightforward and easy with a bit of practice and they resemble the homework problems he posts. The professor is very accessible outside of class hours if you need help and always reminds students of deadlines and due dates
Guys beware he is one of those professors who teaches apples and asks for oranges in tests. He expects a lot, 10 assignments, group projects, individual presentations, midterm, and a final!! The catch is all this coursework is vaguely distributed and the final holds 50%. By no means this course feels like a graduate course.
This prof is a great guy, very simple and straightforward with his expectations. Interesting and engaging class. Easy midterm, exam, labs and assignments. As long as you go to class and read the slides, you're guaranteed a great mark - no trick questions! Everything is fair game from materials covered in class. Definitely recommend.
Saman is the greatest professor at Ryerson. His tests are fully based on the things he teaches and if you just review those you will get an A+. He cares about his students so much if you do bad and just ask him he will re grade you and allow you to get mark boosted. Overall he is the greatest prof at Ryerson and deserves a 5/5
Get ready to read and read though, because the midterm and exam are all about memorizing the lecture slides he posts. Also the assignments are graded very strictly. If your answer is even slightly different than the textbook or lecture slides, you will lose marks. He is a very caring prof though, and he makes the effort to help.
He is a nice prof who will repeat things until they are understood well. Get ready to read and read though, because the midterm and exam are all about memorizing the lecture slides he posts. Also the assignments are graded very strictly. If your answer is even slightly different than the textbook or lecture slides, you will lose marks.
My favourite part? He's a super fast grader - we got our midterm results back in a week, and our final exam marks back in 48 hours. Easy and forgiving grader. I opened the textbook once, during the first week of class, and never again. Could improve by not reading from slides, having TAs that actually teach, and including more material.
he is a very nice teacher, helpful. He provides plenty of sample questions and his exam is exactly based on them and his assignment. Totally he is very good.
A very good prof. Helpful and Understanding towards his student! Respect him!
