602 with Libman is quite possibly the easiest course in the Law and Business department. No textbooks are necessary as his slides are sufficient, lectures are short and sweet, and exams/assignments are incredible easy with no surprises. He is also very kind, enjoyable to listen to, and grades faster than any professor I've had. 10/10 course!
Eric Libman is a great professor that cares about students and wants them to do well. The material is relatively easy and the textbook is easier to read. Libman grades papers really fast compare to some profs that would take 2-3 weeks.
As good of a guy Prof Libman, his lectures were very difficult to indulge in and his tests were mainly opinion-based. There is a lot of room for error because of how open-ended these questions were and I found it difficult to understand where I was losing marks. It seemed like he has a mark cap for assignments because no one would get over an 82.5.
overall decent prof but he rounded my 84.5 down to an 84 instead of up to 85 which I didnt even know professors do. That 0.5% was the difference between a 3.67 and 4.0. Guess hes just a tough grader. Avoid.
Professor Libman is one of the best at Ryerson! He is very knowledgable and passionate about what he teaches. I would reccomend the textbook if you want a 4.0 because it is helpful for the midterms and assignments. Exams are very fair and the assignments require more of an effort if you would like a high grade. Would definitely take again.
Prof Libman is the best prof at Ryerson. He is a very fair marker, he is extremely educated in the field, he actually lectures from his office at twin hall where he serves as a judge. He knows what hes talking about, extremely friendly and you dont need the textbook to pass class. I find going to lectures is great but he records them as well!
Rick was the most laid back professor I have ever had! He actually enjoys lecturing and has a wealth of information to share (because he is a judge). His exams are relatively easy if you have been following along but the problem solving exercises require a lot of citations in order to get a high grade.
One of the best profs I've had so far at Rye! Not only does he teach super well, but he's also the nicest guy ever. He treats everyone with respect and he's very approachable and helpful. We literally didn't need any of the textbooks for this class since he explains all concepts clearly. Also a fair marker when it comes to assignments and tests.
Prof Libman is the BEST! I was lucky enough to have him for both LAW 122 and LAW 602. His tests are very fair in terms of content. Although I didn't get the opportunity to see him as much during the Winter 2020 semester, he is one of the kindest, and most approachable professors. I hope I get to take another class with him!
Honestly, don't even bother reading any more reviews. TAKE THIS COURSE! Assignments are straightforward. Tests are open book and notes and I only printed out the slides and used those and did excellent. Don't need the textbook. If you have taken other LAW courses you will be perfectly fine. Basically a GPA booster with Libman.
