Evgeny Efremkin

Lectures are interactive and he discusses a lot of interesting topics in the class.

Professor Efremkin was just okay in my opinion. He was a pretty easy marker, and was very clear about his grading style and rubric. He was unclear with some things though, such as if we was okay with handing things in later or not.

Dr. Efremkin is a pretty good professor. His lectures can divert off topic but they are always engaging, only to note that his grading criteria is unclear. Even when asking further it was not substantial enough to fully understand what he was looking for. Go to tutorials and participate! That's where a lot of the marks are! Shout out to my TA!

Such a rewarding, foundation-level course- all thanks to Prof Evgeny. He's a more than fair marker for all assignments. He's looking for knowledge acquired so make sure you have a comprehensive understanding on the things he mentions in lectures + connect to readings. Take lots of notes, and you'll do great. He's been my favourite professor so far.

imo he came off as rude and hostile. He'd stare down at students he didn't liked, it would create a tense atmosphere during the whole course. It felt very uncomfortable. He would teach for only 1h instead of 2h, and go through MANY lecture slides in 1 course as if he didnt know what to do. We only had 1 essay and an exam poorly corrected in a week.

Very insightful prof, knows his stuff. Really gets you thinking about the state of the world and how history has played a part in it. Opened my eyes up to the whole concept of propaganda. Lectures and slides can be a bit unorganized and unclear; more structure needed for better online delivery. But, if you are interested in history, take the course

The prof is very nice and if you talk to him he would give you extra time for work. Attending lectures and note-taking is mandatory as he barely posts anything which I'm not a fan of. His opinion makes so much sense. He seems cool and easy while the right amount of strict which makes me feel less stressed but makes do a good work. POL 102

Super funny and easy to stay engaged in his class. Both midterm and final are online. Tutorial participation makes up a large part of your grade, which is great. His lecture slides aren't very detailed, so readings are important. He sometimes falls behind but often ends class early. Would 100% recommend this prof.

Bro openly admitted that the pog 110 is the most boring class he has to teach; he was funny with it though and light marker, the TA's are pretty nice too.

Very good and incredibly insightful professor, unironically opened my mind to many new ideas and ways of thinking. If you are considering taking his course, absolutely do.
